About

Bring friends, family, and swimsuits to this great place with lots of room for fun. Only 10 minutes from Fayetteville, WV, the heart of the New River Gorge National Park. The house has a 30,000-gallon, 20 x 40-foot, indoor, heated, saltwater pool. The house has two living areas, each with an 86" TV and very comfy couches. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies as well as a beautiful 48" oven.

Good to know

The pool is so fun! It is the perfect place to spend quality time with your group after adventures in the New River Gorge National Park. There are plenty of beds for a large group. The house has five bedrooms: two with king beds, a bunk room with three twins and one full bed, a downstairs bedroom with a king and a twin, and another downstairs bedroom with two kings and two twins. There are three full baths. The house is newly remodeled.

Other Details to Note

The neighbor's dogs will bark at you when you arrive and when you are in the side yard. I do not hear them when I am in the house. The neighbors also have a few campers in their yards.

House rules

No pets allowed. No smoking in the house. No parties. All guests must sign the waiver. Follow all posted pool rules. Quiet hours start at 10 pm. Please treat the home as if it were your own. Please respect the check-in (3 pm) and check-out (10 am) times. The cleaners need the entire time between check-in and check-out to get the house ready. Pool: All guests need to sign a waiver and acknowledge the pool rules before getting the code to the pool room. The pool room door must be kept locked at all times to prevent children from swimming unsupervised. Do not share the code with children in the group. No lifeguard on duty, swim at your own risk. 1. Children must be supervised 2. No running- pool deck gets slippery when wet 3. No diving 4. No glass, eating, or drinking in the pool room 5. Slide rules: one person at a time, slide only feet first and sitting OR belly slide with hands first Check out instructions: 1. Check-out is at 10 am 2. Leave used beds unmade 3. The house is on Gatewood Rd, about 10 minutes from downtown Fayetteville. 15 minutes from ACE rafting company, 10 minutes from Cunard River access, and 5 minutes from Long Point Trail, Arrowhead, and Kaymoore trails.

Guest access

You will be able to access the entire home. We do not provide access to the detached garage. Everyone in your group will need to sign waivers and agree to the pool rules before getting the code to the pool room.

Our stay at the NRG pool house was great! We loved how large it was. We had 16 family members of which 5 were young kids , teenagers and adults. We had enough beds and bathrooms. The pool was a hit for every one of all ages. It was peaceful as you could hear the birds singing and spring peepers. Cows grazing across the way. We did try to fish in the pond but didn’t catch but had fun trying. Some went mountain biking, all hiked, some took a yoga class and everyone went to Secret Sandwich Society one day for lunch. Fayetteville is a cool town with lots of shops. We even found skate park for our skateboarders. Great place and great history in Elissa. Clean home with lots of options. We will be coming back. We booked this house for the pool, and it did not disappoint! I was worried the water might be chilly due to the weather outside, but the pool temperature was perfect. We also appreciated the abundance of beach towels and pool toys. Another aspect of this rental that I appreciated is how child-friendly it is. The door to the pool is securely locked and needs a code, which gave us peace of mind with our kids. The rest of the house is cozy and comfortable yet doesn't have a lot of unnecessary decor and clutter, which is a huge relief when you have a crazy 2 year old who tends to bounce off the walls. We brought our own food, and the kitchen was stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils we needed. The gas range was super nice to cook on! All in all, the house is comfortable and family-friendly, and you can tell the hosts focus on convenience and comfort for their guests. Instructions were posted everywhere and the host responded quickly to texts. Highly recommend!
