House Rules

Check-in is anytime after 3 PM and check-out by 10 AM. While we try to go above and beyond to accommodate our guests, we cannot offer early check-ins or late check-outs. This is to allow our cleaning crew ample time to make sure your home is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after your stay. In general, please treat the house as if it were your own. Here are a few rules specific to the house: 1. Please bag and tie all trash. Loose trash will not be collected by the garbage company, so a $100 cleaning fee will be charged for any loose trash. Please pour out any liquids before placing containers in the trash can. Please make sure the lid is secured so bears will not be able to get in and spread the trash around. The trash truck picks up trash on Friday, so I will be by sometime Thursday afternoon to roll the trashcans to the road. Then I will return them to the spot next to the garage on Friday. 2. Please do not wash any of the house laundry. We have specific laundry protocols we follow to wash the laundry. You are welcome to use the machines for your own laundry. 3. Please read and follow posted Hot Tub Rules. 4. Please save the white towels for indoor use. Use hot tub towels from the bin by the back door for the hot tub. Please use non-white washcloths or disposable washcloths for washing off make-up. Make-up stains often become permanent on the white washcloths.

Redstar cabin is located in a very private neighborhood. The surrounding is very beautiful. The local neighborhood has an overlook of the new river gorge bridge at the end of the private road. The house is clean and cozy. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I expected to have a red front door given this is the red cabin in new river gorge. Lol.

We absolutely loved the house and the amenties. Was in a peaceful neighborhood but seemed like it was in its own secluded, wooded area. Easy to find and only a few minutes from Walmart/shopping/eating/New River Gorge National Park. Enough room for a big group and was very clean. We definitely recommend this beautiful house! I appreciated a cabin that is private/secluded but it is only minutes away from everything! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Elissa’s house was amazing. The inside was beautiful and nicely decorated. All the instructions were clear and simple to follow. Elissa had everything we needed to make food. Our kids enjoyed themselves with the kids toys provided and my wife and I got a chance to unwind in the beautiful hot tub. There was also plenty of sleeping space for our group. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area.

My friends and I loved our stay here! We used most of the amenities, including the fire pit table on a rainy night!, and when there was a slight issue in the kitchen, I messaged Elissa and she personally came over to resolve it that day. The house was perfect, the area was beautiful, and the host was responsive. And the QR codes on each photo for local recommendations was a fun addition. Would absolutely recommend this Airbnb!

The property was fantastic, but the real gem was Elissa. She was extremely responsive and helpful when I sent her messages about our stay. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to book at any property she is in charge of.
