Our group was visiting NRG to run in a 50K race and really enjoyed our stay at the house. The house was spacious, well appointed, clean, in a great location and setting in the woods. Communication with the host was great and we would love to visit again!

It is an unbeatable value, in such a beautiful and quiet area. It is a very good way to have fun visiting around different areas of West Virginia without staying in Charleston.

This house was great! Everyone that stayed there loved having the pool to keep the kids entertained along with all the games and space this house offered. Elissa was great! We booked this last minute and she was amazing at responding to questions. No complaints at all about the house.

Elissa was an incredible host to have at our trip to the Redstar Cabin. She was excellent with communication, very responsive to any issues, and even let us stay an extra night due to the weather conditions. She helped shovel out the driveway in the snow and really cared about how we were doing and our experience. Excellent town recommendations as well and a lovely home to boot! Couldn't ask for more.

It was a very cozy space with lots of coffee spots nearby. It felt like home and it matched the photos and description. We had a wonderful time there. New River Gorge national park was very close to this place. We will definitely book this place again.

Elissa’s place was absolutely perfect for what we needed. We were four families on our annual winter getaway. needless to say the best part and added bonus was the gigantic indoor swimming pool. The kids absolutely loved it, especially after a day of skiing and tubing and other outdoor activities. Definitely made the 5+ hour drive well worth it! The ski resort is only about an hour away, and there’s a lot of hiking by the river and wonderful visitor centers only about 20 minutes away. The house is spacious and easily fit 16 people. I also appreciate it being equipped with all the right kitchenware for that many people, as well as two huge TVs for everyone to be able to watch movie night together, lots of games for the kids, pool towels, toys., etc. etc… Given that we had 9 kids, we were concerned about the pool, but the locking mechanism with a code lock put at the top of the door, (so the kids can’t see you punch the code in) was extremely effective. Would highly recommend!

Very nice stay! The airbb was clean and comfortable and had everything I would want in a stay while working away from home. it was also conveniently located right in front of the grocery store which worked out nice. The host was also very nice and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone else visiting the area.

This studio was perfect for our week stay! The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of cooking tools, utensils and cleaning supplies. The bed was very comfortable and the living room was cozy to chill in to watch TV. The area around is very peaceful. There is a supermarket right behind you for groceries and a coffee shop and restaurant right across the street.

This was the perfect place to use as a “base camp” to explore New River Gorge and the surrounding area. Clear check-in/check-out instructions and always responsive! Would highly recommend!

Redstar fulfilled all our expectations. Clean and comfortable. Elissa was very accommodating to our needs and even shoveled out the driveway BY HAND! I Would definitely recommend, and will be returning!
