Incredible Stay Near New River Gorge! Our family of 12 had an amazing experience staying at this rental near New River Gorge National Park! The home was spotless, well-stocked, and incredibly cozy—everything you could want after a day of hiking, whitewater rafting, or exploring the park. The location was perfect: quiet and peaceful, but just a short drive from all the main attractions, trailhead and restaurants. Elissa was a phenomenal host. Communication was flawless from start to finish. They were incredibly responsive and helpful, always quick to answer any questions and offer great local recommendations. It truly felt like they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. If you're visiting the New River Gorge area, this is the place to stay. We can't wait to come back!

The house looked exactly like the photos and was VERY clean which we appreciated a lot. We didn’t feel uncomfortable at all and little things like providing soap, paper towels etc makes a huge difference when packing and/or having to go to a store right away to buy something. There are photos all over the house of different things to do in the area and they all had QR codes so you can look up more information about it which was very clever in my opinion. The house had everything we needed and love that he keeps it super clean. And the location is close to many activities.

We stayed 3x nights at 'The Studio', it was exactly as described by the listing and as reviewed by others. A great central location to stay at while exploring The New River Gorge area and surrounding parks. The place was very clean, bed was comfortable, and the shower was warm with good water pressure. We pretty much were only there in the evenings to sleep, it was relatively quiet given that it is pretty much right in town. We would stay again when in the area. A+

The Redstar is such a beautiful cabin and it worked perfectly for our group of 12. The space had a warm and cozy feeling and was surrounded by peaceful scenery. The beds were all very comfortable, and the entire place was clean and well-stocked with everything that we needed for a relaxing stay. Elissa was an amazing host. She was friendly, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful. One of the people in our group accidentally left behind a sweater after checkout, and she not only found it but also shipped it back to us and covered the cost herself for shipping. That level of kindness really stood out to me. If you are looking for a quiet and comfortable getaway with a host who goes above and beyond, this is the place. I highly recommend it.

Thank you Athena Acquisitions for an absolutely wonderful stay. My main draw was to take in the New River Gorge. Oak Hill is very central to Areas West of the River (15min Canyon Rim & Fayetteville, 20min Beckley - Coal Mine Tour, 20min Thurmond, 40min Grandview, 40min Sandstone Visitor Center +30min drive to Falls). I did plenty and would love to do more 😊 The space was generous with kitchen and living room. Other BnBs were single rooms, cabins/tents, or more pricey. Every basic amenity, towels, linens, soap, spices, cooking oil and ware, were greatly appreciated. Hot/Cold water were quick and the A/C kept the room comfortable even in July. Coffee shop & Grocery like 50 steps away. Some quirks with the space. The shower handle works by pushing the knob up and then left/right for hot/cold (I spun it at first). The room is in a building with 3 other units, but has a private entrance and was generally quiet. Parking in back with pavers to front on Central Ave. Thanks again 🙏 ☺️

Some of our favorite things about our stay: Elissa provided pool toys/goggles/tons of towels to make sure our stay was a blast. There are a lot of rooms if you need to get a little alone time, the kitchen was fully stocked with all of the cooking supplies you could need, lots of games for family game night, huge televisions, the mattresses and pillows were AMAZING, and the pool room overall was the best! We had a multi-generational get-a-way and made the best memories! Highly recommend

Nice spot to stay that is in a convenient location to explore both sides of new River Gorge National Park. Only takes about 10 minutes to get to Fayetteville. The place was very quiet which is always my biggest concern when booking a place to stay.

Our family had a great time. Great house. The indoor pool was awesome and the house was one of the cleanest house we have ever rented. We would definitely rent again.

Elissa was proactive in notifying us of any potential uncertainties during our stay and responded promptly. The rental itself was lovely and fully furnished, and made for a great launchpad to Beckley, Fayetteville, and Summersville. The location was locally convenient too, with a grocery store and various (very good) restaurants within a block or two. For those wanting the size of a hotel suite with the privacy of a house, this is the place.

The studio apartment was perfect for a weekend getaway. We kayaked, went white water rafting, and hiked the endless wall. Neighbors were friendly and offered suggestions of things to do. Wished us a great trip to Oak Hill. The studio was extremely clean, tidy, and confy.. Games were available to play! Excellent place! We will return!
